Laser PerioLase Gum Treatment

With PerioLase, Dr. Ragsdale will use a tiny laser fiber (about three hairs thick) to eradicate infection in your gum pockets and remove diseased gum tissue that cannot heal. In a procedure called laser decontamination, the laser’s focused beam eliminates bacteria that have formed in periodontal pockets. At the same time, the laser promotes ideal conditions for reattachment of gum tissue to teeth.
